Fished Bartlett today with Miguel...got out there about 5am...no topwater bite for us in Rattlesnake..had a few hits on plastic in 20' of water, but I just couldnt set the hook today. Moved to the dam, and got a dink on plastics in 15', and missed a few others...Miguel got one about 2lbs on a senko, right out of the same bush I just threw my worm into and made meel feel like a loser. Thanks Miguel! We graphed HUGE balls of shad near the flats area, they were about 15' off the bottom. Didnt try spooning them b/c we had to leave. If youre headed out tomorrow I would suggest 4"-5" dark plastics fished in 15'-20' of water near smaller rocks...maybe toss a jerkbait/senko shallow in the morning if you want to cover some water...I must have had 5-6 fish hooked today, just not hooked well enough to get to the boat! No Del, you dont want to know. Oh and yeah, I do suck at fishing! I shaved my head in protest. I bet it was Dan that posted the thing about me sucking....just seems like his style. And the LOVE thing gave him away. Del, your worms are pretty nice, I like the pink one the best.......did you ever figure if you can pour that color for me? If not, just ditch the gold.
