2037 before leaving your home you have to file a travel plan with the local authorities, then after checking all licenses and insurance to make sure requirements are met they strip search you and do a search of your vehicle, with bomb and drug sniffing dogs. You then have so many minutes to reach your destination. If you get there too soon you are immediately issued a ticket for speeding. If your too late then you are considered a terrorist and have to repeat the strip and car search all over again. In the mean time they have been monitering you on audio and video recorders all day as we will each be required to wear a personal monitoring device.

Well, I've lived in both 1957 and 2007 and I'll testify that NOW is a hell of a lot better than THEN. If you'd rather live in 1957 conditions you're either too young to know what you're asking for or (IMHO) not very smart. It's easy to pick and choose things that might have been better 50 years ago, but on the whole, there's no comparison.
