Tackleman's Patagonia Tournament on 3/14/09 will be the Last Tournament of the year. :icon_sad:

Due to the current economy, and other factors, Tackleman will no longer sponsor the Patagonia Bass tournament. Thanks to everyone who participated and fished these tournys. Many thanks to Patrick and Ri who ran a great tournament.

Thanks everyone

Yeah guys its a shocker, I think we have one of the best and funnest tournaments around with the best guys and gals fishin, So dont worry Ri and I will still continue with everything as planned, same schedule and same format. The only difference is Tacklemans will not be associated with the tournament.

This weekends tournament will be the last one that you can sign up at Tacklemans, for the rest of them call Ri or I and we can get you signed up or you can just sign up at the Lake.

Please continue to make this one of the best and funnest tournaments around.

Any question please call Ri or I.

If any one is has or knows of a good battery operated scale they would like to sale please contact me.

Thanks

See You All out there this weekend.

Just out of curiousity. What does it take to sponsor this event? I'm assuming the cost of placks 1st-3rd for all events. Was Tackleman's adding money? If so how much? Just have some potential new local sponsors in mind depending on the cost.

hey patric why dont you guys join forces with jesse. I am sure there will be a better show up if guys arent torn in two on witch one to fish. You both put on great tourneys but with every one watchin there money these days people have to pick and chose which tourneys to fish so instead of having two diffenet series you guys should talk to jesse and consolidate.

Shiman42
March 12th, 2009, 06:51 AM
you can't join with Jesse because that would be way to many boats.

BassmasterAj
March 12th, 2009, 09:11 AM
the same boats that fish jesses fish these. and as of right now theres only one boat signed up for jesses

Bassmaster makes a good point, at least 1/3 of those who fish tacklemans fish jesse's. However, everyone is watching the cash flow and picking and choosing. Plus anything over 30 boats on Patty and you might as well tie rope tows to all the boats cause we will be on top of each other all day.

Ri told me he just wants to keep things like they are,a group of fisherman going down to the lake and have a fun tourney.I'm sure both tournaments will pull plenty of boats.Everyone likes Jesse [as do I] and will love to support his tournament, and a 5 fish limit will pull some boats for sure.I am looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend, and at Jesse's.

First of all, nets are for old men fishing for crappie, I didn't need one for the 6 - 9 I stuck on wednesday. Second of all, keep your distance the next time I see you (still love ya ?). Plus, Love told me you didn't know how to use a net.

LOL. You're right, I don't know how to use a net. I usually catch all the fish and don't get much practice! :gheyfight:

I customized my trout net for tourneys. I added a broomstick handle and a plastic coated hook for pulling fish out of the thick stuff.
