Allstar Teams Results 03-24-2012

Husband and wife team, Wes and Jen McCracken bested the field of 70 teams with 18.69 lbs., earning a total of $4,500. They reported catching bed fish and some deep water. Brad Cook and Danny Hallock came in second with 17.74 lbs. which landed them $3,885. Third place went to Josh Bertrand and Tommy Jonovich who brought 16.28 lbs. to the scales, including a beautiful 5 lb. smallie. In general, the quality of fish seems to be picking up based on the number of 4, 5, and 6+ lb. bass brought to the scale.

We also thank Complete Marine for their continued sponsorship of Allstar Bass Fishing Tournaments. We also thank Rim Country Custom Rods and A&M Graphics – Andrew Napoleon wrapped the Allstar Bass stage trailer and it is beautiful.

Our next tournament will be April 28th at Alamo – this will be a last chance qualifier for those who have fished at least 4 tournaments with the same partner in the boat. We qualify 15% of average participation from the final tournament of the season for the Championship, where there is $10,000 cash on the line for the winners. So make plans to be at Alamo! See rules for more detail or give us a call if you have any questions.

I got all excited, looked at the tourney schedule and it said bartlett lake? but it had not been updated, then I realized that due to low water the tourney had been moved, thought wow that is nice fish for bartlett and even a smallmouth.
