Az Game & Fish on Lake Pleasant aka Lake Dump Hole!

From Az G & F website on 10/11/12

"The lake survey is not yet finished, but preliminary data suggests excellent largemouth bass numbers in the Aqua Fria and Humbug arms of Lake Pleasant."

:

This isn't what the last completed report showed a year or so ago - what has changed? Was there some secret massive stocking project?

Hardest lake to catch quality LM bass in the entire Southwest...work your ass off for a couple of 12-15 inch bass. I'm going to have the first 4lbs bass I catch from Plez mounted!

I have caught Three 5-7lbers in the last few years. When I was younger I got a 8.4oz I think back in 96 or 97. But the lake has changed allot since then.

That should pretty much qualify as a double digit!

Um considering Bartlett has only been putting out 4's as the biggest LM and hundreds of rats for every 4 lber, I'd say Bartlett is tougher with quality.

Pleasant's tuff, but caught my personal best this year out of Castle Creek. About a month ago I lost one next to the boat that I am sure was bigger.... Almost cried

It's tough to fish but the bass are healthy. Clear water and falling levels intimidate most fisherman.

I think Sag and Canyon spoil az fisherman...

Plez has some nice bass, but stripers make fishing reaction and other baits a little harder, I caught some nice bass 2 weeks ago, but had to catch 15 stripers to get 4 lm in one boil....
