Safe to eat from Urban Lakes

Hey All,
I have seen several signs at some of the parks stating reclaimed water or waste water. I generally catch and release but my girl really loves to eat fish and wants to keep everything we catch. Just wondering if there are any urban lakes that are safe for eating especially with trout season coming up?

Anyone know of a list that has which urban lakes are using reclaimed water? I tried searching AZFG but could not find anything?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jeremy

You can eat the stockers (trout and catfish)out of the urban programs if you want. They are farm raised and not in the water for very long really. If you are eating anything else out of there.........Have fun! The water looks like shit, smells like shit, has dead animals and duck/goose shit all over the place. Sounds like a tasty meal to me

Kind of what I was thinking with the exception of Bass. I'm mean what else is there to eat Blue Gills and Carp I would pass even if it wasn't reclaimed water.

the cleanest ones around you would probably be veteran oasis or Papago. If you are going to keep fish I wouldn't keep anything but the stockers.

Saw one take a $hit in TTL...I did. In about 18" of water at the beach area under the Mill Ave bridge north side. Dude stands and pulls his pants up. Have not fished there since. A mexican turd or two may not foul the whole pond but...ahhh, it does in my mind.

Maybe a canal but I would not trust ttl, the water treatment plant in the area dumps it's "waste" water into the waters above the east dam and that flows over. But to each their own.
