Dixon Lake Escondido, Ca 3-18-14

After work I was not sure I wanted to head up the the lake, Its about 20-30 min depending on traffic. Then was like well I am going, (better then sitting in my hotel room) I got to the lake about 430pm and just shore fishing and two seperate docks. @ 1/2 hours and got six fish. Nothing of great size biggest was right at about 2lb. Click image for larger version

Nice. Definitly better than sitting in a hotel room.

yes mike long had caught dottie there. I have seen some big girls swimming in there. overall it is a good fishery. I saw on Wed a ton of bass and trout, with the occasional blue gill cruising around.
yes poacher I am not a small man!

I.ve been there, very pretty spot considering it is almost surrounded by houses. I remember the Paradise fire burned right up to the edge of the property 8-9 years ago. That was a big fire.
