Arivaca Good Friday

Got to sneak away with my son for a day of WIND and fun. Still possible to launch a big boat but TM up on way out to main lake is wise. Fairly weedy which kept most parts of the lake real clear. Started blowing around 9:30 and full force from 11-after 3 with whitecaps. Made fishing the main lake and most of the arms really a bitch. Lots of beds most empty and lots of fry balled up. Temps low to mid 60's got up to 69 for a bit. No real pattern. Only boated 8 with a few others quick released. 2.9 was biggest on a blade. Couple mid 2's on senko type bait. Got one on a frog and one on a crank but it was a baby. Road in is still the suspension wrecking tire eating road we all love. Hell once on dirt road we were happy.
