foul hooked a 8-10lb carp last night at TTL right by the east side dam. I had to shimmy down the wall to get to it as I wasnt about to drag it up the wall. Ended up getting myself in the lake on accident (DOH!) The carp was missing a ton of scales, very fat and snapped my line clean when I went to retrieve my brand new rat-l-trap. sigh. If you catch it soon...congratulations youll more than likely get a brand new green pumpkin/bloody shad rat-l-trap.

oh well, it was however the largest catch Ive ever made.

So I had a question in my earlier post that didn't get answered. We got side tracked with the whole trespassing topic.

What were those things attached to the inside of that bass' mouth? I'd never seen that before.

Bassman-

What reel did you buy? I have their pro qualifier and I absolutely loved it, my second baitcaster after a crappy one that didn't even have anti reverse... Definitely changed the way I thin about those reels.

Sitting here at Veteran's Oasis soaking for trout while working on my laptop. Lots of people here, I seem to be the only one catching anything. Corn seems to be working well for me this winter (not sure why it's been outfishing Powerbait like 10:1).

Come say hi if you're near by. I'll be here till probably 3 pm or until my laptop battery runs out.
