Lake Havasu tent camping

Looking to load up the boat and tent and head to Havasu. Anybody have suggestions for tent camping at the water?

I am pretty sure Crazyhorse has sites on the water.

If you launch from Windsor there are camp grounds that you can only get to by boat...which are cool spots to camp.
Might want to check out Havies web site.

With a little research you will find there are boat only access campsites on the lower end of the lake. Remember seeing something about them but don't recall the details. You might try this link; http://azstateparks.com/parks/LAHA/index.html

South end of the lakes has lots of nice boat only sites. All the sites have a level area for tent, cabana, fire pit, and a beach to tie boat. Most of the sites even have a big old cement filed pipe to tie up your boat. You can launch at the south end thru Havasu Springs resort. I just drive right in and go to the ramp and launch. No one has ever said no. Within 5-7 miles of the resort are sites. Just pull into any bay on Arizona side and you'll find them. Forgot all sites are on the Arizona side. Have fun it's a great place to do what you're planning

Slept in the Parking lot at Site 6 a few times! lol !

Some of these boat only sites have Port-o-johns too! A large cement picnic table as well.

There are some good sites to camp there,Here is a pic of my favorite.Its on the backside of an island.
