2016-2017 Senior Teams Results #7

Monterey Bass Company has posted the results from the Senior Teams tournament held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Roosevelt Lake with a total of 27 teams participating.

Congratulations to John Ramsey & Nick Susuras for taking first place with a total weight of 12.93 lbs which netted them a check for $1,552.

The team of Dave Nichols & Jake Morrison came in second with a total weight of 22.80 lbs which netted them a check for $991 which included monies for first big fish of the tournament weighing in at 6.11 lbs.

Additionally, the third place honors went to the team of David Stachowski & Greg Valenzuela with a bag totaling 12.77 lbs landing them a check for $651.
Total payout for the tournament was $4,013.

Roostetales Bass Club at Saguaro- 4/8/17

The Roostertales Bass Club had its fourth one-day tournament of the year- at Saguaro Lake on Saturday 4/8/17. Main lake temperatures were around 70 degrees and the river was several degrees lower. The high winds that were predicted earlier in the week did not materialize. Seventeen boats participated. There were eight limits weighed. The first place team was Allen and Coleman with 18.83# and second big fish of 5.14#. Second place was the husband/ wife team of Redding and Redding with 17.65# and big fish of 5.71#. Third place went to Club president Joe Jensen and his partner Joe Chubbuck with 15.46#.
Fish were variously caught as they were in pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn modes. And fish were caught on various techniques including dropshot, jerk bait, topwater, swimbaits, senkos, and spinnerbaits.
Our next tournament is on Roosevelt Lake on May 6. Refer to our website Roostertalesbassclub.com for next meeting time and place, typically on the Monday before the tourney. Or call Ed at 602-819-0622 for more information.
On June 24, we will have our popular OPEN Tournament on Bartlett Lake from 4 pm to midnight. Put this on your calendar. Refer to our website for more information on the OPEN which will be posted.

2016-2017 Senior Teams Results #6

Monterey Bass Company has posted the results from the Senior Teams tournament held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Apache Lake with a total of 43 teams participating.

Congratulations to Derrick Amerson and John Mergener for taking first place with a total weight of 22.83 lbs which netted them a check for $1,963 which included monies for second big fish of the tournament a 9.0lb largemouth.

The team of Vern Ridgeay and Brad Shoemaker came in second with a total weight of 22.40 lbs which netted them a check for $1,234.

Additionally, the third place honors went to the team of Richard Kereny and Dean Kreuzer with a bag totaling 21.86 lbs landing them a check for $1,038.

Big fish honors went to the team of Keith and Chris Parrish with a 10.04 largemouth gettting them a check for $315.

Total payout for the tournament was $6,754.

WWBS at Apache this weekend April 1

The Weekend Warrior Bass Series presented by Anderson Toyota heads to Apache Lake this weekend April 1, 2017 for the 6th qualifier of the Arizona Region. Total entry for this event is just $200 per team.

If you have not already signed up for the Bassmaster Team Championship there will be a one time annual fee of $10 per angler. This fee goes directly to BASS.

There will be no Friday night registration at this event. Teams wishing to sign up early and be in the early draw for start position can pay by credit card by calling 602-791-0023.

We will start registration once again on Saturday morning at Burnt Coral starting at 5:00AM. Blast off will be safelight and first flight will be due in at 3:00PM. See you there!!
