on Saturday at Roosevelt Lake with an 22.95 lb total and
the 2nd big fish of the tournament a 5.66lb hog! Pirch
and Green took home $6,420! In second Place weighing 11.68
lbs were Jim Everett and Tommy Jonovich who cashed checks
totaling $1,979. Matt Shura and Mark Dibrito were 3rd
with 11.13 lbs and won $1,916. Big Fish went to Robert
and Ron Jones weighin 6.12lbs for 8th place recieving

Nov. 25, 2006 - Congratulations to Richard Vizcarra and Tom Parks for winning the MBC Team tournament on Saturday at Pleasant with an 15.88 lb total and the 2nd big fish of the tournament a 5.13lb hog! Vizcarra and Parks took home $6,237! In second with another nice bag weighing 14.27 lbs and the 6.91 Big Fish of the day were Jim Wood and John Osborn who cashed checks totaling $4,220. Joe Wheeler and Guy Huff were 3rd with 9.83 lbs and won $1,918. 120 teams fished on Saturday.

October 28th, 2006 - Joe Wheeler & Guy Huff won the 1st Monterey Team Tournament of the 2006-2007 season at Roosevelt Lake with a total weight of 12.97 lbs earning them checks totaling $7042. Doug Pingree and Barry Burke brought in 12.05 lbs and 1st Big Fish for 2nd place taking home checks totaling $4924 . ABF becomes MBC Teams Tournament

The president of Arizona Bass Fishing, Pat Buckner, has resigned his position due to a job change which will take him out of state. Our thanks to Pat for all he's done for Arizona Bass Fishing and we wish him all the best in his new endeavor.
Effective in October for the start of the 2006-2007 season, Arizona Bass Fishing will now be known as Monterey Bass Company Teams.
There will be no changes to the tournament itself, only the name will have changed. Any questions, please call Randy @ 602-679-9979.

Win ABF 2005-2006 Championship!

September 30th, 2006 - Tim Demecs and Tony Sarkis won the 2005-2006 ABF Classic tournament at Lake Pleasant with a 27.33 lb total weight! Scott Mcgraw, owner of Tempe Marine, presented them the keys to a Skeeter ZX190 with a 150hp Yamaha motor and they collected checks totaling $1,974. Demecs and Sarkis were in 11th place at the end of day 1 with 10.13 lbs but they saved their best for day 2 when they landed the biggest limit of the tournament, 17.20 lbs, which vaulted them to the top spot and the win.
In second place, the team of Brian Daniels and Gary Senft weighed 24.67 lbs for total winnings of $2909. Reggie Frieswyk and Eric Schook were 3rd with 24.33 lbs and a 7.13lb Big Fish of the tournament, which earned them option and prize money totaling $3199! The team of Rick and Kyle Grier finished 4th with 23.37 lbs and rounding out the top 5 were Lyle Yoder and Joe Sumner with 22.98 lbs. Click Here for full results.
