Used a Lucky Craft Sp and made my own blade cross...opinions wanted
the blade won't hit the back hooks, or get tangled. Why pay $14 bucks when I can make one?

Can you tell me why? Or you get off by being afunny guy? Looks like the OG cross to me

Chase October 2nd, 2013 01:55 PM

Just looks pointless dont think it improves the bait at all

Chase October 2nd, 2013 01:56 PM

If a company sold that i would feel no need to by it

HavasuHavoc October 2nd, 2013 02:05 PM

Well thank you for the explanation. Thing is, I have 8 or so Lucky craft pointers I got free, so thought I would experiment

HavasuHavoc October 2nd, 2013 02:06 PM

Caught 4 smallies in about two Mohave yesterday ... fishing was slow, but bait worked. Thanks for the kind words Charlie!

I think the flash has to help..good on ya

Reminds me of the old days when there was a crank bait made that had a plastic wiggly tail attachment..that thing rocked..i have seen similiar deals out there but nothing compared to that bait..that was back in the 70's

I would have stepped up the front treble one size and put the blade on the back..

JustinTime October 2nd, 2013 10:37 PM

Looks good! It will get those lokers to take more often.

Did you catch that 6 lber you posted in the photo gallery on that. Is that the 10 in. pointer? J.K.Dude

Actually not a new idea although not too common. And if it looks dumb but works, it isn't dumb.
I also think Lucky Craft wouldn't be selling something like that if they hadn't used it successfully.
