drop shot spinning rods

I'm wanting to upgrade my drop shit rod from the big 5 special I have right now. I'm needing some suggestions on what length, action, price and so on

Thanks in advance!

7 foot med fast or ex fast action. St.crois are good I like vendettas for under 100, if you got more to spend look at cumaras, crucials or carrot stix.

I use a Shimano Crucial CRS-DX68M
6`-8" MEDIUM , EXTRA FAST and I really like it for a drop shot rod. I have 2 other ds rods this one is my favorite.Very sensitive, around $150.00
lifetime warranty

The Shimano Cumara is the most sensitive and comfortable rod I have used. 7'2" med. They retail for 220, I have been able to pick them up on Ebay for about 145. Most of the time they are buy now for 199. Have to wait for the auctions.

I like the Gloomis ones, the 820s is ok but a tad whimpy for me(a tad too light at the tip) the 822s kicks ass

To answer this we really would need a price range on what your comfortable with spending on a DS rod.

I have a $300.00 G loomis drop shot rod with a Shimano stradic (I think) on it. I never use it. Make me an offer or trade for a 7' G loomis baitcasting rod for carolina rigging.
