How to access TTL (Tempe Town Lake)

I'm from Sierra Vista and dometimes travel to Sky Harbor to drop people off for thier vacation flights.

TTL is right down the road from the airport and I'd like to fish it someday. Thursday I was there and got off of loop 202e at Scottsdale/Rural road.Drove down and took a right onto the road that runs along the stadiums.There were plenty of empty lots to park in but they were all barricaded closed.

I drove the whole road and ended up back on loop 202e. How in the heck do you gain access to the lake? Can anyone do an overlay on Google maps or google earth to show how to access the lake and where to park? Mods ...if this is in the wrong sectionplease move it. Thank you.

Triathlon last weekend closed all the roads. You are on the right track!

Easy way is the marina boat launch on the northside. Google maps will get you right there. I believe its college st or something. Electric motors only. Hope this helps
