I think we would have a better chance of teaching Del how to spell than having SRP change lake levels for fish

Iowa has tried a couple of different things. Drain and kill everything, but then it is over two years for fishing to start getting decent. They are now trying low dose retenone during the fall when the water cools. This seems to be having a good effect, with little game fish lost.Except for the walleye they seem to be really effected the most of all the gamefish.

Just checked another site and they did the retenone thing at a lake in Texas. It was a two year treatment. The results look great! They did not find any shad yet,and the gamefish were not harmed to much extent.Although the bluegill were in bad shape before the treatment. They did not fair well and had to be restocked.
