No Pics but a 4+ out of Rosey. Just exploded on a spook when the lake was at its lowest a few years back.

I took a 4lb.3oz. smallie from Canyon on a soft jerk about 6 years ago.
My wife took a 5 pounder on a Splash-It topwater bait there, too.

Caught a 5lber on a nightcrawler back when I was 13years old. Got it in Cananda. Never thought I would beat that fish but went back three years ago and nailed a 6 on a Roboworm. Lost one on the same Robo a few casts later that was even bigger than the 6. Wish I would have gotten that one in the boat! Also caught a 2.88lber in 2008 at Pleasant.

Shy of four on the black river. Good fish for small water like that though.

Those river smallies are so strong

Canyon Lake on a bed with a 4" blue fleck lizzard in 1 foot of water. its back doral fnin was sticking out of the water when it was on the bed.
the bed was against a cliff in a little hole about 1foot x 2foot then dropped off to 60feet deep. I always caught a 4-5lb largemouth on that spot in years past and after but never saw a smallie there.
was either a 3.5 or 4.5 I forget which one. it was a while ago in a roostertails tourny. Only smallie I ever caught on canyon lake caught a ton on Apache in the 3-4 lb range and lots of 1-3lbers on rosy.

I've had what probably would have been near the 5.5-6lbs area on the line (jumped into the lake after it when my line snapped) but the largest landed and weighed on that same trip was a 2.3lbs and a 2.1lbs @ Elbow Lake in Northern Minnesota.
