Haha...my nephew caught it with his hulk pole. Almost reeled fish lips thru the rod eye.

C&R..nope haven't had time to fish Talky. I've heard some reports but just random stuff. No details. A couple bank fishers getting some crappie last week or so.

Gilamobster did you use Plastic Grubs to catch the Crappie. That is all we used to use there back in the day.

Yup...I was using Yamamotos Curly tails in Chartreuse/pepper flk and solid white. A couple were caught on spinners. Alotta stick ups so I chose a more weedless presentation.

More thefts on Roosevelt lake than SC.

Yup Bass are being caught too. Not any size to them but at least they're still here. Most I've seen are less than a lbs. Hopefully next year they'll grow if the lake maintains some water.
Most of the crappie being caught are in the stick-ups in less than 4-6' of water. Best bites are an hour before sunset.

Yeah too bad this sh!t happens. Be very aware anywhere. I never leave my stuff unattended, even for a moment these days.
