January 25th 2014
Mittry Lake Picnic Ramada
4:00 PM Until ....

As you know the BBQ on January 25th 2014 marks the end of Yuma Pro Am. Everybody who was a member in 2013 is welcome to attend at no charge. In addition they may bring their spouse or significant other and minor children living in the same household. All others must pay in advance for dinner.

EVERYBODY MUST RSVP IN ADVANCE – Go to the club website and click the RSVP link. Then fill out the form and click submit. If you are not sure if your form was sent you are welcome to send it twice. I will be able to tell its a duplicate if it has the same information on it. The BBQ will not have excess food for the dinner this year. (maybe enough for one or two people) The BBQ will be provisioned based on the RSVP notices I receive.

The BBQ starts at 4:00 PM. It ends when it ends. There will be raffle prizes similar to previous years, and tickets will be based on the same method, except that there will be no new sign up. Non-members who pay for dinner will receive one raffle ticket.

ONE LAST TOURNAMENT. The club will have no money left in the bank except the 8 pound pot. On Sunday the day after the BBQ we will have a tournament to give away that money. Only those people who were members in 2013 will be allowed to participate. There is a list attached to this letter with those who are qualified to fish it.

NOBODY may fish solo as a boater if there is a person who was a member and does not have a boat who wants to fish.

NOBODY who owns a bass boat may fish as a nonboater whether they fished the club as a nonboater or not. If it has a front and rear casting deck, a functioning livewell, a function trolling motor, and its 16' long or longer it counts. Even if everything else on your boat is broke.

EVERYBODY who is qualified to fish this final fish off has the option of picking their own partner. The list included with the mailed copy of this letter will include the last known phone number I have for those qualified.

ALL CURRENT RULES except those obviously changed by this notice apply.
ANYBODY who doesn't have a partner and wants/needs one must be at the BBQ to make sure they aren't DQ'ed from fishing if they are a pro for not having a partner, or to find a pro who does not yet have a partner if they are an amateur. If there was an amateur at the BBQ who wanted to fish and didn't get to any bass boat owner who shows up without one will be disqualified.

FINAL FISH OFF TIME AND PLACE - It will be on the river. It starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. That's right. Late start and short day. Its the same for everybody. 3 fish limit. Payout will be 50/30/20 of the remaining money in the bank account. There will be a ten dollar per boat option for big bass. 100% to biggest bass. Cash only. I intend to close the bank account the following week.

WHAT IF – If you have to ask “what if” about something. Whichever way you don't want it, then that's probably the way it is.

IF THERE ARE MORE BOATERS THAN NON-BOATERS - Then boaters must pair up. Boaters may not pair up if there are non-boaters who will get left behind.

Thanks for 8 years of learning, opportunity, and friendship.

It came to my attention that the RSVP link for the club BBQ in some of the emails and posts made yesterday was broken. The link above will take you to the RSVP page of the site so we can plan the size of the BBQ.
