Suggestions on motor for 10ft jon boat...

First time boat owner and just recently picked myself up a 10ft jon boat. Looking for suggestions on what size motor to throw on it? Wast thinking maybe a 3hp-4hp? Just looking to take it around Patagonia, Apache, Parker Canyon, etc.

Any input is greatly appreciated.....

3 or 4 should be fine. I have a 5 for my 12 ft. John boat, works great.
Definately put a tm on it, big enough to handle winds, a 40 or 50 should work fine on your 10 ft.
