Not the dodge
They can't get out of their own way when you're towing a boat

A Tundra pulling a Champ 206 was hardly working.

You must be talking about the 3.6 liter V-6, that no one with a brain would buy for towing, because the 5.7 Hemi has more horsepower and torque that any other naturally aspirated engine available from Nissan, Toyota, GMC, Chevy or Ford.

I have two tundra's in the parking lot. Towing the 18 foot pontoon is effortless. Have had not problems with either, '08 and '12. It would be hard to sell me on a different 1/2 ton.

You looking for fuel savings? It hard to beat the Ford Ecobust. The 5.3 Chev or GMC are kind on fuel. My last two GMC went over 200K without problems.

I really like the Tundra but hate the MPG.

The U.S. government has opened up an investigation into F-150s that rely on the EcoBoost V-6 engine for motivation, as some have been reported to lose power while accelerating. In all, the government’s investigation covers around 400,000 F-150 models made from 2011 to 2013. The EcoBoost engine has been widely reported as going into “limp mode” when the charged air cooler builds up humidity and this humidity gets sucked into the engine. When this event occurs, computers in the truck restrict the engines performance to negate damage from occurring Unfortunately, this limp mode has the tendency to happen, for some, at the worst time like trying to pass another vehicle or merging on the interstate. Having a non-responsive vehicle during these driving events can cause serious injury to the driver or at the very least some shaky nerves.
