Some fun moments on my annual fishing trip to Lac Seul Reservoir in NW Ontario. Jack ass comments are welcome.... I take no offense. Tight lines.

BKSNAZ: It is awesome scenery. One of the best Ive seen.
STRIPER MIKE: You should plan a trip! You will have a blast!
POACHER: I will let my old man know that #48 sucks. LOL
YELOSUB: It is the most fun fishing times you could have.

Although we predominantly fish for walleye and pike the smallmouth bass were on fire. Here is one of the fatties we picked up.

We always went during Fourth of July weekend and the am allies were in full spawn then. Water was always dark from having mostly a mud bottom, all the clams and constant inlet and outlet of water. Killed the smallies on my last trip about 9yrs ago with a red and black roboworm fished weightless on top. They would hammer the hell out of it!
Probably one of my best fishing trips aside from as kid whenever dad or grandma and grandpa would take me out.

You wouldn't want to be tossing any expensive swim baits for pike, those toothy monsters would tear them up. I've got several older wooden pikie minnows and Rapalas with deep teeth marks in them from years of Canadian fishing trips. Hard plastic crank baits, big number 5 Mepps spinners, Daredevils, and other large spoons are the way to go.

Ya I wouldn't throw my expensive ones but I got plenty of SWavers and BBZ's that I would surely throw for them
