I Got A New Tow Rig (Pics)

After towing the last few years with a 2001 Toyota 4runner with a V6, I finally decided it was time to get something that I could actually tow with confidence with...The Toyota did ok to the closer lakes but I couldn't use it to tow it to lakes like Alamo, Rosy, Apache, Havasu, etc...I'm keeping the 4runner for my 15y/o son so when he is ready to drive he has a car, it's a great car for that and will run forever...

I started searching for a gently used truck about (2) weeks ago and was trying to keep it around 25-28k...Man talk about hard to find something newer (2013-2015) with low miles with clean title to fit that bill...

I finally found my truck at Bill Luke...I chose this dealership because we have an offsite location there and they treat us well...

I purchased a 2013 Ford F150 XLT Supercab with the Ecoboost motor and only 19k miles...I paid $25k for it...This truck is flawless and loaded with everything I need to tow and much more...

Some of the features are the tow package, 3.31 gears with electronic locking rear differential , rear view camera, reverse sensing system, power sliding rear window, trailer brakes controller, trans and oil cooler, etc...

It also has Ford Sync, Sirius, power seats and pedals, insulated tonneau cover with carpet kit, sprayed in bedliner, tail gate ladder with grab bar, and just about everything else...

Kids love it and even though it's only the supercab, it will fit an average full size adult comfortably...If I could change one thing about the truck I wish it was a Supercrew but this truck will work just fine...Truck drives awesome and man that ecoboost has some balls!

Here are the pics:

Kids enjoying the carpet kit!

I like the ecoboost, if it wasn't this motor that 5.0 is also a great motor...

Thanks guys...

Never half ass two things...whole ass one thing Nice ride. Is that the crew cab? How much room is in the back? I'm 6'3", so I want a truck that could fit a car seat for the kid in the future with the front seat pushed back all the way.
