the cow hunt in yellowstone park(jacksonhole wy) is a fun hunt and it used to be 125 bucks a tag for non residents.(back in 90's).

Bob if your still looking goto hunttalk.com ask same question. look for answers from BUZZ, GREENHORN,OAK and AZ402 those guys arent guides(az402 is in az) and know whos good and whos bad. they been around a long time and live an work in the best elk states in the USA. they only kill big shit

Here a list of the costs and what type of hunts each state offers. The over the counter non resident any elk any deer combo in Montana looks fun. Or going after a Roosevelt elk in WASHINGTON and Oregon would be my second choice.
