Question Need a new start battery over 1000 CA

I need a new start battery for my Ranger. I have had good luck with the Sears Platnum 31M 1150 but now they have discontinued that size. $ 279.99
Any suggestions?

I use the DEKA AGM group 31 and it works great for my Merc 250 with the HDS8. Never runs low on power. Look at Don Weed's sticky on the Mercury forum on BBC. The DEKA Intimidator group 31 meets all the specs. The CCA is 800, the CA is 1000 and the AH is 200. Plenty of battery.

You see a difference until you run like 2 or 3 12 inch graphs, and 2 powerpoles+all the other BS.....
