Out of state guided Elk hunt info needed

Would like a recommendation on a guided Elk hunt in or out of state with a high class outfit. Bull or Cow, don't care.

New Mexico landowner tag would be your best bet. Erik Martinez of outlaw outfitters is a good start. I'll text you his contact info Bob.

For a good guided hunt with a good landowner tag you're looking at $8-$10k

Why would you need a guide for a cow hunt.

New Mexico is the place to go for a land owner BULL tag. depends on the unit as to whether you need a guide (I am from Silver City and know the state well).

If you want to settle for a cow, go spend $250.00 at either San Carlos or the White Mnt. reservation and shoot a cow. No guide is needed for either reservation.

Why go all the way to NM for a cow tag. Theres plenty of cow hunts right here with high draw odds. Ive gotten the same late cow hunt 3 of the last 4 years. Also like mentioned above go to the res. WM cow calf or spike tag was $350 last time we did it.
