Which truck would you recommend?

Hey everyone. Just a some questions. I am looking at getting a new truck very soon. I'm trying to decide between the Chevy Silverado 2500, GMC Sierra 2500, Dodge Ram 2500, or Ford 250 Super Duty. I keep comparing online, but the true test is what you drive and how you feel about it. I think that will help me make a choice. I'm looking at diesel. Any likes or dislikes about the truck would be great too.

Wasn't sure which section to post this in, so sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

Mine has 106000 miles of hard driving on an '04 F-250 diesel. Runs great and I am going to see if you can really get 300000 out of one. No creaks or rattles yet and I have had it in some nasty stuff over the years. I heard the new 6.4 drinks more fuel due to the emissions garbage. I like it.

2004 Ford F350 6.0 PS turbow diesel CrewCab Dually 4x4 w/ 119,000. Gets an average of 16mpg. Has its issues but can pull a house. But be sure to get the crewcab and a diesel what ever you do.

I have a 2003 chevy 2500 with 105,000 miles on it. Overall the truck has been good. originally when I bought it new we had a larger fifth wheel so I needed the diesel.

Recently i had to replace the water pump. over the years I've had 3 instrument clusters go bad(all covered by GM for free) and a couple minor issues. Its never left me stranded and held up well overall. I've been told by the dealer one of my fuel injectors is wearing but there's no telling how long it will go until it requires a replacement....not looking forward to that bill.

I've looked at Dodge trucks this year and Ford along with a toyota tundra (I dont need the diesel for what I tow) each time I walk away and decide to keep the chevy as it does everything I want and more...and its paid for.

Dodge cummins is the hands down best! I don't like the 6.0 ford we build them all the time and they will not last they have head gasket issues. If u can find a 24 valve 5.9 ltr cummins that dose not have a ton of miles that would be the way to go. My bro's truck has 225,000 miles on it and runs awsome.

I have an 07 dodge 2500 with the 5.9 cummins. I love it. Haven't had any problems but still only 34k miles on it. My brother in law has new ford and that thing sucks down the gas. He was pullin his toyhauler up to Stoneman lake and he was down to 1/4 tank by camp verde.

Ford has the looks hands down but I think the Dodge is better built and a better motor

128K, lifted.. forgot what tires i got on it..

sometimes, i wanna say forget and punch to the pedal but seeing those burn marks on the side of the road, it slows me down.... oh yeah, i foot gets hot when i push it too hard.

i'm only going abour 55 mph uphill since i have to keep my emt temps down. can't afford to risk it.

Just got my 04 dodge diesel and I love it. My DAD has a 96 with 270,000 on that cummins and it still runs like a champ. You can't beat them. Just my two cents.

My '04 has zero mods and no lift. I can pull a boat up the hill to roosey at 80 and everything stays nice and cool. I wonder if the Banks stuff is causing a problem?

Thats weird that it says the oil level is hi. I will ask my bro what he thinks. If u have the banks kit with the turbo, u can burn that thing down it will just keep feeding the fuel to her. 1300 is not that bad for your egt but u don't want it any higher than 1550 u will start to melt sh!t. Like your feet lol.
