Yup! Last Friday @ Pena Blanca Lake somewhere near 96F. Sunday out at Lakeside and JFK Park 103F. A little warm out there. Good to wet your hands before picking up a pole off the deck.

Cheers!

It was a great time at PBL, not many on the lake so I could paddle about without a fuss. Slower than it has been but you could still find a few in the various pockets. Largest was about 2 lbs, not too far out of the nursery. Surprise this time, no catfish. Every now and then you get one tied on to the small jig and it is a hand full on 4 lb mono. They make a great trolling motor for the yak.

I might get a chance to get out there again in a week or so.

Up in the two TUS waters just a couple of really small bass 6 ~ 8 inches. I was only shore fishing there cause it was so hot I wasn't sure I wanted to launch the yak. So I just cast for a bit till I had had enough of the heat.

Just about every week I get out somewhere. Most of my yak fishing has been at night though - in the TBA motorless bass series tourneys every other Friday.

Nice. Glad you guys are getting out. I've been predisposed with work, so needless to say, not fishing. Its a bummer.
