FLW Roosevelt Qualifier Tournament $120/boat

Got this update from John Sneed on the the "FIRST NO SLOT TOURNAMENT (in a long time) ON ROOSEVELT LAKE".

Winning team(s) will be entered into the FLW Series Tournament. This tournament will be held on August 21st at Roosevelt Lake, Cholla Launch ramp. John Sneed of Allstar Bass Fishing Tournaments has volunteered to be the tournament director and will set up the live release trailers and stage to facilitate the tournament. Allstar Bass Fishing Tournaments rules will apply. Big Bass will break a tie, and NO SLOT LIMITS will be in effect. There are no off limits prior to the tournament.

Sign ups will be at the Tackle Box in Tonto Basin from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday August 20th and at Cholla from 4:00 am until 5:00 am on Saturday, August 21st. The entry fee is $120 per boat; there will not be any options. Tournament hours will be from safe light (approx 5:00 am) until 1:00 pm with 20 boat flights.

Volunteers are needed to help out with live well inspections, start boat, photographer, and check-in person.

Call John on his cell if you can help out or need additional information, his number is 928-581-6299.

For anglers fishing in the FLW Series tournament, be sure to stop by the Tackle Box in Tonto Basin. They have a huge selection of baits and as a lot of locals already know, they have the "right" baits for Roosevelt Lake. You can't miss it, just look for the huge FLW banner out front (okay its not there yet, but it will be in a few days). The Tackle Box is a major contributor in the planning efforts for the FLW tournament. They will be open for extended hours during the pre-fish days as well as the tournament. Stop in and see ol' Frank Powell, he'll have a surprise for you!
