June 2012 - Yuma Pro Am News
June 24th 2012, Launching from Fisher's Landing.
Sunrise will be about 5:30. You should be in the water ready to go before 5:00. Those meeting their partner and coordinating at the ramp should be there 30 minutes earlier. We should have coffee and donuts at the ramp by 4:15-4:30
You can sign up on-line or at the draw meeting. There is also time to get your entry in by mail if you get it out right away. Amateurs remember, if there are more non-boaters than boaters those who signed up and paid first will be the ones who get to fish.
We will draw for partners at the Baron Fuels at 6:15pm sharp on the 23rd. You do not have to be present at the draw, but we do always give away a few things by random draw to those who are there. Its also a great chance to meet a few of the other members before you hit the water.
Alvin Hatton & Allen Hook took first place. With a pairing like that its not at all unexpected. Second place went to Robert Murray & Will Wathan. Another great pair of anglers. Ed Reeder and Simon Apodaca finished third. First out of the money (not counting options) were Ed Reeder and Will Wathan. Big bass of the day also went to Alvin and Allen.
General Results and point standings can be found at:
Individual tournament weigh sheets will be posted as they are completed, and the points for the season are posted below. Thanks to Allen Hook for summarizing the points for everybody. I will double check all the points for the top ten at the end of the season, and anybody who wants to read the rules is welcome to cross check based on the actual posted weigh sheets and challenge the standings, but only if they have a shot at top five status. Any challenge must be made atleast 7 days prior to the jackpot tournament.
As always, please lets remember to thank our sponsors. These companies are the reason we have a great BBQ and lots of great extra prizes and give-a-ways through out the season. They are helping us to have a better more fun tournament series. The best way to thank them is to do business with them.
