CBC Roosevelt Open Tournament April 11th Proceeds to benefit Ken Levy

Chandler Bass Club will be holding its next tournament on April 11th at Roosevelt Lake. The club has decided to make this an open tournament and to donate all the club proceeds to helping fellow CBC member Ken Levy and his family. As many of you know, Ken recently suffered a major heart attack and is not doing well. The entry fee to this event will be $150 total per team/boat. This include $20 for big fish.Payback is 85% with 15% going to Ken. Big fish is 100% payback. Launch will be safe light and 3pm weigh in. Normal club rules will apply. Marina is off limits. There is no off lake limits prior to the tournament. We will be launching out of windy hill.

We are going to try and put together a possible raffle and serve food after the tournament.

Please note that all boaters will be required to bring proof of boater insurance carrying a minimum liability limit of $300,000.

Any questions, please contact Mike at 602-300-9410 or visit chandlerbassclub.com.We will try and update more information on our website during the next few days.

We will try and get information on where to send donations from his family and post it on here. We will also have a side donation pot for Ken prior and after the tournament that we will also deliver to the family to help with burial expenses.

We will be launching out of the Ringtail boat ramp at Windy Hill. (East side) We will also be setup in the Ringtail boat ramp parking lot on the left as you make the right turn to the ramp on Friday evening around 7pm for those who want to pay and receive their launch number early. Numbers will be assigned on a first come basis. Ask for Mike or Bart. Directions are on the front page of our website. chandlerbassclub.com

Cash only. Checks will not be accepted as we do cash payouts immediately following the tournament. We will not be serving food or doing a raffle as originally planned but will accept donations for Kens family. Also a reminder to bring a copy of your boaters insurance showing a minimum liability of $300,000. The liability form can be printed off the front page of our website. It would also be helpful if anyone who's going to participate would text me the full names of both partners. This will help to ensure we launch at safe light.

Hope to see everyone there next week Saturday.

Mike
