Top Water Questions
At any times of the year are any of you throwing top water at night with any success for stripers? I have used my favorite night time bait the jitter bug and buzz baits and have had success for largemouth in the summer months but not a striper, even when I was chasing them right until the sun went down then poof there gone and I'm switching baits and dropping lights. I would love to throw baits at night hear the explosion and feel my line take off in the dark any help will be big thanks

Storm Kickin' Stick. It's basically a knock-off of the Sebile Magic Swimmer.
It's a swimbait, but sinks so slow that I often end up fishing it as a wake bait. The stripers really seem to like it. It's a popular bait for stripers on the east coast. You might want to start with the 6". The 8" is a big boy bait http://www.overstockbait.com/Storm-K...-8-p/kst20.htm |

Used to have good luck throwing pencil poppers on calm mornings before sunrise.
