San carlos

Crappie is off the hook right now. Not huge "like back in day"... but good eaters. Managed 12 from the bank, ke, and OSC area but also heard locals catching at others spots.

FYI-finding minnows for bait is impossible, only place is Butcher hook.

What is the water level like? Heard it was full. I doubt that.

More than likely a piece of bottle glass will get jammed in the discharge gate and it will empty again quite soon.

Lake level at 8-10% with clarity at about 2'. Can launch outta Soda Pt with big boats. Mohave launch is do-able for smaller crafts. Jigs is OK but I almost bet minnows are killer.
Channel catfish with crawlers at dusk is excellent too.
