AZBassZone and the future

I was trying to write a real nice letter and just couldn’t come up with the words. So heres the deal.

I sold AZBassZone to a company called vertical scope.

Now that you all read this please read whats below.

Reason I sold:
While I enjoyed being the Dictator for the last 10+ years, I just don’t have the time to keep AZBasszone Updated and do the things I want to do with it. Work has been keeping me just freaking buried which is a great thing as we are expanding at a rapid pace. I am rarely home at a decent hour, let alone home on weekends.
Which leaves me very little time for AZBasszone.
I have felt that I have let the tournament Directors Down over the last few years as thats what this website is all about and I have very Rarely had the time to keep the scheduals updated.( I got something I am going to pass along to the tech guys and I think they can make it happen).

I haven’t even had time to go fishing/hunting in the last 4-5 years I think I went a total of 6 times one for myself and 5 times I had the hook up take the kids out for a guide trip, and you all know my kids and fishing they just love it.
Over the last almost 2 years Vertical Scope has been talking to me about selling AZBassZone, as you all know I am slow on doing anything. Over the last 2 years I have seen and been on a few forums that vertical Scope owns. They do an outstanding job and they keep things the way its been with very minor changes, nothing you guys would notice except for speed and bringing forums completely up to date and more user friendly.

So whats going to happen:
Really Nothing, you wont see any changes except for the better. Vertical Scope has extreamly Fast servers and they have the resources and technical staff to fix things, update things and add things to this site that I been wanting to but just don’t have the time. So this is all a good thing.
Officially Vertical scope will own it, but thats about it, Many forums are owned by people and ran by others.
If you think about it the Forum is ran by every one that reads and posts on this forum. I mean think about it guys, How many forums are like AZBZ ....... NONE, they don’t even compare. Men can still be Men, grown-ups can still be kids. And Champ and Forrest will still be Champ and Forrest.

This forum has very few rules, and it runs perfectly.

I am still going to be the Dictator and will still be around. I just won't have the dictator powers to PULL the PLUG and Shut the internet off. Oh don’t worry I still have my Disney Land powers so if you really need that Vacation just ask, I will be happy to oblige

the rules will still be the same (which there isn’t really any, except for No porn, No talking about children/Porn Not even jokingly, No spamming and have fun.

This is were it get sappy and border line being thrown in the Kitchen with a broom and dustpan.
But I really have to mention this because it shows what type of people are on this forum.

Like any big group/Family we pretty much all know each other. While we like to give each other crap and joke around from time to time. There is another part that a few newer people don’t know( they may have if they read some old posts) When someone got hurt/passed away people(you) were the 1st ones to step up and Help. Even the guys that some of you guys just don’t get along with were the 1st people to step up and offer some amazing things.
When we did some of those fund raisers, those were all suggest by people whom some of you may or may not know., they were suggested by people who some of you just don’t care for. Guys this is just the tip of the iceberg. There a lot of things that go on behind the sence and in private that I have heard of and a ton of little things that I have heard of over the years when someone needs some help/down on there luck or just not in town to take care of something that they would normally be able todo.

That to me shows how cool you guys really are.
