Crappie fiahing

Was gonna take my step son out tonight for his first time in a boat and was gonna go up into some of the northern coves of plez that's where I used to do good at. Haven't been there in a while though any tips would be appreciated or should I just do some stripper fishing ?

They are still in Pleasant. Just very hard to find. Stripers must've eaten them.

They are there, I've caught them. Bring some anchovies with you if you can't find them.

I have only caught 2 crappie in 5 years on that lake. Last one was 3 years ago.

It looks like I may be able to get out Sat. night. Water will be warmer and lower than last week. I will try my deep spot again first.

I usually target them once or twice a season. Last year early, skunked. Late about a dozen smaller ones tossed back.
