Is there really a bait that costs $130.00 USED!!!!!! That bad boy would sit in my house on the wall. If I did every throw it I would need to bring scuba gear just in case it got caught up on something. WOW

Hell this Sunday I was throwing my $440 RM Mother when the line snapped on a cast (30# Pline CXX) and the bait went sailing...It splashed down and began to sink...Talk about a sick panic feeling...Thank God Paul was quick on the trolling motor as be was able to gun us over to the area of the splash down but we lost sight of the bait...Without hesitation I dove head first into the water and was able to retrieve my bait which had sank down to about 6-8ft...

Talk about a relief but after it was all said and done I froze my ass off...It was like 38-40 outside and the water temp was 60-61...

From now on I will be bringing a change of clothes...Also a mask and snorkel would help...

$130 in the world of swimbaiting is not uncommon...

I have just started to get into throwing swim baits.

I don't want to say what I have bought and invested but I will say I looked at a Roman swimbait that was $550.00 and I PASSED!

Dang Sub I barley feel confident throwing a deps on 30 lb pline. Can't imagine the cringe factor throwing a 10 plus ounce bait. Glad you rescued it!

Show me where I can get a Hinkle Trout! I have the Hinkle Shad but the Trouts are impossible to find...Have you ever fished a Mother? It swims awesome and does draw in the fish...I just got it and have only used it for a few hours...Had one hit it right at the boat at Saguaro...

Ha, Ha, and I laughed so hard my side hurt and I couldn't breath...I almost fell in from laughing so much. I'm sorry Tim, I should have been more sympathetic
