What a great finish to the Allstar Team Tournament season! 47 boats came out for the final tournament and they put on a show. Putting aside the cell phone time challenges, the fishing was off the hook.

Todd Herman & Jimmy Savoini had 21.09 lbs hooked and landed including a 6.2lb big bass, sweeping the options categories and earning $4,495.

Last to launch and last to weigh in were Buddy & Reese Randall. They hauled 19.58 lbs to the scales, good for 2nd place and $1,745.

3rd place went to James Pacheco & Gary Senft with 19.18 lbs, earning $940.

Tanya Kreuzer was all smiles when she and Doug Pingree weighed in 19.05 and cashed a check for $430.

And rounding out the top 5 were Anglers of the Year, Chad Harvey and Forrest Webb. They had the biggest bass of the tournament, a beautiful 7.12 lber to fill out their 18.28 lb bag. They hit the early sign-up options and took home $2,240.

Ariel Quezada had trolling motor problems and had to pull off the lake early, but he now has $500 towards a new trolling motor thanks to the lucky random draw presented by Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge & Ram.

Ron Aston & John Daniels were 1st place out of the money, so they received a nice assortment of DJ Custom Jigs.

We thank our sponsors Bill Luke Chrysler Jeep Dodge & Ram, A & M Graphics, Boston’s Lake House Grill, Complete Marine, Biobor Fuel Additives, Canyon Coolers, DJ Custom Jigs, The Tackle Box, Fisherman’s Hideaway and Army Bass Anglers. Please support those that support us.

We also thank Skeeter Boats, Yamaha Motors, Dobyns Rods and Bassmaster who is providing a path to the Bassmaster Classic.

Chad and Forrest will be going to the Bassmaster Team Championship, and with the final push at year end, it looks like Lyle Dalby and Jeff Mason will also be going. We are very close to meeting the requirements, so the phone call is in to get both teams into the show.

Here is an excerpt from the Bassmaster website announcing the date and place for the Bassmaster Team Championship:

Apr 28, 2014 - Team Championship set for Arkansas
BISMARK, Ark. — This December, one angler will qualify for the 2015 Bassmaster Classic from the new Bassmaster Team series. The inaugural Toyota Bonus Bucks Bassmaster Team Championship is scheduled for Dec. 9-13 on DeGray Lake in Bismarck, Ark. Weigh-ins will take place at the DeGray Lake Resort State Park Lodge and Convention Center. Through this new event, one angler will qualify for the 2015 Classic on Lake Hartwell in Greenville, S.C. In addition, one two-angler team will emerge as the national champion.

After two days of team competition on DeGray Lake, and the crowning of the inaugural Toyota Bonus Bucks Bassmaster Team Champion, the Top 3 teams will be split up. Those six anglers will return to the water to compete for the one Bassmaster Classic spot.

We thank everyone who fished with us, supported us, sponsored us, and like us. We WILL be back next season.

See you at the lake
John & Janet Sneed
