I like to go to the back of Castle creek West side of culverts, Fill a small hook with corn and through it outing and wait for it to start paying out line and pull. A carp or a cat will pull back. I though some corn in a small area for chum.
Blue gill in pleasant can be hard to find but they are there. Usually were the bottom is rocky.
