Its level , launching is good , just stay the path to the right to get on the main lake.

Fishing is always superb..catching..thats another story.

It was a bit slow last time I was down but the ones we caught were very plump and healthy.
That was over a month ago , I`m sure the weeds have come up, had the typical brown stain.
Top water should be good with the hot weather early & late.

Yeah me too.
Have you ever caught those big bullfrogs with a plastic worm? It's a riot they chase it down and tackle the dam thing rolling over on it while eating it. Then fight like hell kicking and jumping. Taking them of the hook requires a good pair of pliers.

never have caught a frog. Have had them scope out my frog.

That was always a blast back in the old days Bob, you see there eyes sticking out of the moss beds and toss a weightless worm past them on top of the moss, work it next to them and let them chomp down until they have it fully in their mouth and set the hook , game on ! Lots of laughs.
