Biggest I caught was at a Rosey Night Tourney just before dusk. I stand about 5'8" and obviously didn't have a scale big enough as the damn thing when I stood up went from my chin to the deck while I was standing and holding the thing. I played hell lifting it out of the water and the net we had (well lets just say are you kidding?). Pretty cool to catch something that big.

All out of the salt river feedin Rosey. I wished I could have landed some of the ones that broke me off or spooled my reel. Had a few big ones take off with my stringers and also have a few poles in Davey Jones locker also from them whiskered toads

Caught a 25+ flathead on the upper Salt a few years back. Pegged my shitty scale; my guess is 40. But the good part is I caught it on a Medium Light spinning rod with eight pound mono which I was using to try to catch a little carp for bait! Will try to dig up the pic. Caught five flatheads that night all on the small rod. Nothing on my big catfish rod.

25 pound flathead at Lake Pleasant caught on a #4 hook while fishing for bluegills for flathead bait. Took 20 minutes to boat the fish. Hook never straightened out and amazingly never pulled out, wasn't hooked very well but got it in the boat!
