World Record Largemouth - Saguaro Lake

Heard a rumor that a 25lb 11oz Largemouth was caught at Saguaro on saturday. Boat ramp #two on a shad under a bobber. Apparently game and fish euthanized it to get a true weight as it had a bottle cap and a crankbait in its stomach. Apparently Bass Pro is having a big release announcement this weekend. Anyone else hear about this?

They had to get the crankbait and bottle cap out for a true weight. We should find out tomorrow Basspro is supposedly making the announcement tomorrow.

How did they know it had a crankbait and bottle cap in it's belly? Did they shove a bore scope down it's throat while it was alive? Marina's will often have a certified scale....is this to imply that there's someone operating that scale who checks for objects inside the fish?
