was either a 3.5 or 4.5 I forget which one. it was a while ago in a roostertails tourny. Only smallie I ever caught on canyon lake caught a ton on Apache in the 3-4 lb range and lots of 1-3lbers on rosy.
Nice fish Delw..

I love smallies on the beds, they don't fu(k around at all. I have had them attack the trolling motor before. Mean little fu(kers! It's funny when you see a smallie's bed, they have a huge blown area.

This is my father and grandfather, 1991, pickwick lake in Tennessee. My grandmother gave me this photo after gramps passed away in 2004. We are not from Tennessee, I guess they just went there for the great smallie fishing.
Fish sizes left to right, 7 1/4, 6 1/2, 6 1/4, 6 3/4. Delw can you resize?

How is Lake San Antiono? I heard it was way down and been that way for a few years now. Been a while since I have been there. (I grew up in Carmel Valley up the road) We used to go there all the time. I always steered away during the summer. Too many Salinas crazys go there.
