November 2012

As usual, do not reply to this post. If you need to reach me send me an email to bob (at) yumaproam (dot) com or call me on my cell phone 928-580-1270.

October Results:
Robert Murray & Greg Abney finished first with 13.88 pounds and 2nd place big bass of 4.18 pounds. Alvin Hatton fishing with Allen Hook finished second. Third place and first place big bass at 4.63 went to Bob La Londe & Justin Coogler. This makes little difference in the standings, just spreading out the points difference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall on the pro side, and tightening up the points spread just slightly amoung the top five amateurs.

November:
Sunrise is 7:10 am. Early call out would be about 6:40, so if you are in the water ready to go by around 6:00 am you should be plenty early. We are at Fisher's Landing this month. In fact. Tomorrow morning. Weigh in will probably be 3:00 PM.

Related Area News - Arizona Game & Fish is seeking your input:
The Arizona Game and Fish Commission is asking the State Legislature to allow the Commission to establish hunting and fishing license structure directly through a customer-focused rulemaking process, rather than setting it through the legislative process. The proposal would retain legislative oversight. The Arizona Game and Fish Department will host public meetings to discuss the legislative proposal with constituents and receive input.

Much more information on the proposal and process, and public meeting dates, can be found at the following link: http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/licenses_newFees.shtml

The public meeting for the Yuma area is coming up very soon, at 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. It will be held in Yuma, in the Booth Machinery conference room, at 6565 E. 30th St. Booth Machinery is located just east of Araby Road, south of the I-8 intersection.

There will also be a webcast of the Phoenix meeting, 6-8 p.m. on November 19, at www.azgfd.gov/webcast

Public participation is strongly encouraged!

Lets show our appreciation for all of those businesses who support our club.
