the way i look at it, I am into this for a donation. If we win Buddha and i have already stated we will not take the money. we both have been to too many officers funerals and i have personaly lost 3 partners and friends. for the first 3 months after the fact while the government is still playing the bullshit game the families have a tough time financially. if it wasnt for the 100 club some would be doomed. last week i lost a friend who was a retired police officer and had no children. he willed his estate to the 100 club. God bless him.

We created a new forum to post information and questions on this event. See the Forum Index, it's right on top. Whatever else we can do to help Rich, just call.

Rich, This is rmlesu- I am the guy that you talked to about the 1996 ranger I have for sale. I own a window covering company (shutters blinds etc...) Call me, I want to donate 700.00 in free new blinds and installation as a raffle gift or a prize of some sort. To help out the cause. Russell Le Sueur [email protected] 480-326-9286

Right on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! prior to my Dads retierment from Phoenix I lived thru him going to funerals of fellow officers and they never got any easier for him or us. I remember when he was the first officer to reach a motor officer who had been shot and killed he never got over that. Woke up on several occasions screaming. I don't think most people understand the impact of what you all go thru. get up in the morning get ready say goodbye to the family and maybe never come home. Kinda tough on the family as well. It is sort of funny you all act like it don't mean nothin you act all tough and such like; it ain't nothing just your job. Put on a great front for the family and go off to work. just really isn't that way inside is it. To bad the government doesn't support the families after a tragedy like this; like they should. Well we have also decided that for some reason if we where to cash a check it will go right back to the officers families.
Rich and the rest of you Thanks for doing this................

Age limit?

Is there any age limit for competitors? Its a great cause and it would be a great 1st tournament for me and my 12 year old son.

I am almost sure there is no age limit

But boat cop or Rich will answer this better.

Talked to my brother and we will be there if we can. If jeff can't make it, I will be there to help out in any way I can. If you want help with getting the press involved in the event, let me know, I can help get that going.

BC I know this is a big favor to ask. But since you work at Pleasant and I don't, think you can get the fees waved at the gate?

Just an idea....The County should chip in I feel for a good cause.

Hope I didn't put you on the spot.

What time does the tourney start and end on the 25th? If this has already been posted , I apologize for my ignorance.
