The best place to stay is without a doubt... the Spring Creek Motel. Phone number 928-467-2888. Place is like new with flat screen tv, fan, good a/c, outside outlets for charging the boat, and a just all around much nicer place. It is right behind Boston's in the Spring Creek RV Motel. Plus, you can just walk to Boston's for a great dinner, and you have the gas station right there for gassing up or buying snacks. Seriously, it is by far the best Roosevelt has to offer.

if you fish the salt end it is much closer to stay at the resort by 30+ mins if you plan to fish the tonto end and launch the tonto basin inn is closer, the resort is fine it is "rustic" but the bar and resturant are 10' away from your room, you can charge the batteries in the boat, satelite t.v. in the resturant and bar to watch a football game etc in the evening, food is good and reasonable, gas station right up the street and a small store to get snacks etc.

damn i just bring the blowup matress blankets and pillows and sleep in my bronco. in the summer time i bring my small generator thats pretty quiet and plug in my little a/c unit and it will frezz out my bronco its perfect!!
