10th Annual GPD Youth Fishing Event Oct 31, 2009
This will be my last GPD Youth Fishing event for a while as I am heavily involved in my two daughter's activities and need to take a break for a while. It will be held at Lake Pleasant at the Marina south ramp and will be from safe light to noon. We will be done in plenty of time for the kids to make their halloween festivities. As always we will feed breakfast and lunch for the kids and volunteer boaters. The entry fee is ten bucks and every kid leaves with some tackle and a t-shirt. Age groups are 12-15 and 11-under. Parents with their own boat can fish with the kids and sign up at the lake (a heads up tthat you are coming is appreciated so I can plan accordingly on food). Those without access to boats need to sign up with me early so I can arrange for a volunteer boater to take them.

You can defenatly expect at least a few boats from our club again. I might be able to come, but wont know untill it gets closer as I will be going to NAU this semester.
For anyone who has not participated in this event, it is a lot of fun. Sean and I took 10 year old Garrett out last time and he had his best day of fishing he had ever had, and took 2nd place for his age group.
