Sounds like u had a good time!lol That lake is a pain ithe arse for parking and luaching if your not there early u get screwed. What was the big fish for the day?
Amateur Hour
So I fished Sag yesterday for the first time. I now know why I havent been there. First thing in the morn I pull up to the guard gate and I then realized that I didnt have a tonto pass.:blink:. So I had to drive all the way back to the fort and buy one. I then go back to the lake and now im in this huge line to launch. I must say the ramp is a bit on the small size for the amount of traffic that it recieves. So after waiting an extra 30 I launch. Like I said I have never fished sag before so I decide to fish points and drop offs with a drop shot and began to absolutely slay em. I was using my home poured robos in a color similar to a morning dawn but better.lol. I ended up with maybe 30 or more lost count after it got hot. So now we come to amatuer hour. I get to the dock and walk to my truck. Some D-bag parks on the shoulder behind me and it takes me like 5 min to manuever out of my spot without taking out anyones truck. I then start heading back to the ramp and realize im driving towards the highway WTF. This is stuipd. I go around and again theres a huge line.
. Im sitting there watching these people putting or should i say trying to put there boat on the trailer and its making me frustrated to watch em. To make matters worse when they do get there boat on the tralier they go back into the make ready and block the next person in line to retrieve. The best part of the day was these college girls piling into a 30ft pontoon and doing things that would make a grown man blush. So that wasnt too bad. Moral of all of this, sag is a nice lake but only on a WED.

sounds like you were part of the amatuer hour. not tryingto be a prick but maybe there was another guy in the line waiting out in the lake for an open spot at the dock, but some guy was taking forever to back up his trailer then he started driving the wrong way, then all he was doing was looking at a boat full of girls. your at the lake to relax and fish, there are not any time clocks there. relax. who cares if your waiting for a few minutes. some people dont know how tro back up a trailer or load or unload a boat. would you rather them hurry and hurt them or another or worse another boat?:biggrin:
