Any David Allan Coe fans?
He's playing some secret show this Sunday (13th) at a place in Tempe called " Last Exit " if anyone is interested in going... Must buy the tickets at the venue either today or tomorrow, they are not selling them day of the show. Gotta see him in concert before he kicks the bucket, he looks pretty rough these days!

No Johnny Cash but I'd go see him if I could.
Coe is a classic - no doubt about it. A friend saw him in Seattle a little over a year ago and said it was awful.

Can't wait for this show! I went to the venue yesterday to pick up some tickets and place is, well, not really even a venue it's a just a small dive with a stage.

THe Rodeo Song!!!! It was the early morning mantra for the Magic Moments Balloon Crew in the 80s. I used to love the fall, the balloons would be flying and we would be blasting David Allen Coe on the speakers as loud as the van could handle while running chase or hanging at the launch site. I remember when a friend of my Dad's found the Chipmunks doing David Allen Coe tunes, when I heard them sing The Rodeo Song I laughed for days.
