Wondering who has stayed there and fished there...any good? Can you get to Havasu via boat from there?

I like the fact that it is closer to home...but don't want to sacrifice the fishing to do it.

No on getting to havasu by boat.. Parker Dam comes to mind. You can trailer to up 95 though...

Never fished there but stayed there once...visited several times. My mom lives F/t in Havasu and I go there pretty often.

Never stayed at the Casino, but I looked at their dock faciltiy once. Not bad. I played cards at the Casino once. It was ok.

Its not a major destination spot, but it might be a fun overnighter with the family. They have a few things to do besides gamble and fish. If I recall there is a big indoor waterslide right as you come in, and a small video arcade off in one of the secondary buildings.

That stretch of river was know for numbers of smallmouth long before Havasu turned on for smallmouth like it has.

No, you can't get to Havasu from there by boat. LOL. Well if you ride in the boat while somebody trailers it up to Havasu Springs maybe.

I live here and the casino sucks and so does the fishing.

stayed there for 2 weeks a year ago(work no fishing) not a bad place to stay

I fished a tournament there about 8 years ago took 2nd fishing was good good smallmouth what we did from ramp go up river to dam and drift back down flipping the reeds largemouth and smallmouth my partner even caught a bluegill a little over a poumd crnkbaits work to first thing in morning. Casino was nice to gambled some hope this helps good luck.

looking to stay at the casino next week, but wanted some fishing action for myself and the kids. Do they still allow that, and how's fishing over there now. Anyone know? Thanks!
