I don't know but I'm going to give it a try next weekend
That's a lot of work.................I'd give it a go. If you have to do it all your self it's a chore. Mike and I get through 50 in less than 2 hours. Wow, that doesn't happen very often.
Me, Jessica and Jim cleaned over 80 from SC in about 45 minutes. Me and her on electric knives and Jim doing the ribbing with my Kershaw.
2 electric knives works great. If we're cleaning that many, I have to stop several times because the knife gets too hot to hold......that's time to drink beer. I need another knife I guess.
damn.... ya all have a good problem. I donn't have to worry about that problem, i don't catch that many fish :Iconrotfl:Iconrotfl
he must have a freezer full of filets, I have done that many in the past but yes normally with two people so now I just kind of catch and release now or keep enough to feed a fire station etc., heck do the same thing on stripers unless someone is along that wants to clean them.
This is why I don't post every trip or about the fish we catch. Bruce go and fish stop hating man!!!! If not go back to hanging with the bass fishing cry babie's jezz your starting to sound like one.

Fishless, yes i do have a few bags of filets, but i was out of filets by last spring, and we vacume pack the filets, so last a good long time in the freezer, all my kids love eating crappie and fish for them, and yes its a job cleaning them, but no one sleeps till they are cleaned and bagged and in the freezer,
Hey Dick
not questioning keeping that many fish "like husker" seemed to think, I used to do that in the old days, but man I have burned up filet knifes and I just get tired after fileting that many fish, I have lots of filets also--donated some this last weekend to the "chowder man" and I take filets to the fire stations (thats when they invite an old retired fart to dinner!!) and the vacuum sealer is the way to go they stay fresh for a longggggggggg time, more power to anyone that wants to clean that many fish especially after fishing all night then fileting at the cleaning station.

And dem fillets made some good chow da! Thanks again Bruce.
cool glad you enjoyed them Bill, firemen at sta #5 hate you now though LOL
well i wasnt planning on it, but i got a call from my 3 year niece, she calls, and says, uncle dick, u take me fishing, I love u, so how do you say no to that, sounds like its timje to try maybe 1 more nite bite, unless the lake has turned over, or put her in a cove with a bunch of worms,
anyways fishless, didnt mean to sound like i was gripping at ya, any game or fish i take i make full use of, and yea, as far vas filet knives go, i have 2, let one cool off while using the other or get 2 guys working them,
I remember, spending aday on the lake with my folks, catch a 100 crappie, but they didnt filet, gut em and scale them, that was a chore
Nice did your niece have to show you how it was done. It is always great to take a kid fishing.
